That being said, (Scott holds an Electrical MASTER'S License ,combined with maintaining continued education certification-which is no longer required in Idaho to own an electrical business. ANY yahoo, green, inexperienced, pip-squeak of a journeyman can now get his contractors license, slap a business logo on a van and foist himself on unsuspecting customers-UGH!).

Founder Scott, a master electrician with over 25 years of experience, didn’t just learn the trade—he lived it across the rugged landscapes of Alaska. From wiring man camps on the North Slope oil fields to installing airport lighting and securing school systems, his career has been marked by adaptability, grit, and an unwavering attention to detail.

After two decades up north, Scott and his family returned to his wife’s home region in Idaho. It was here that North Woods Electric was born—first as a solo venture, and now a growing operation with four employees and two subcontractors.
