The story starts with Eric Backman, a former Microsoft consultant whose own back pain journey took him from Sweden to Poland to Germany—and finally to the USA, where he discovered a treatment that worked. That breakthrough changed more than his health. It changed his life’s mission.

He returned to North Idaho and opened what was initially a physical therapy based clinic for back pain, anchored by the groundbreaking NuBack Program, which uses unique protocols of low speed vibration and microgravity movement to decompress the spine and restore mobility. The results spoke for themselves—leading to the expansion into a full-scale wellness center.
