Idaho Unveils 2025-26 Hunting Rules with Major Changes for Deer, Elk, and Mountain Lions

The Idaho Fish and Game Commission has released the 2025-26 Big Game Seasons and Rules (GRAB IT HERE), introducing changes shaped by nearly 14,700 public comments and input from regional working groups.
New regulations include targeted hunts for Chronic Wasting Disease in Unit 1, expanded deer and elk seasons across various regions, and a year-round mountain lion season.
