Apply Starting May 1 for Limited Swan Hunt Tags in Northern Idaho

The Idaho Department of Fish and Game will begin accepting applications for its 2025 fall controlled swan hunt in the Panhandle Region starting May 1. Interested hunters have until June 5 to apply, with successful applicants set to be notified by July 10.
This unique hunting opportunity has been offered annually since 2021 and is restricted to four northern counties: Benewah, Bonner, Boundary, and Kootenai. A total of 50 tags are available for this specialized controlled hunt. Read More…
