Coeur d’Alene Plans Water Rate Hike to Fund System Upgrades

City officials are considering a series of water rate increases beginning in 2026, aimed at maintaining Coeur d’Alene’s water infrastructure and preparing for the area’s continued population growth.
Under a proposal reviewed this week by the City Council’s General Services/Public Works Committee, the average residential customer could see a monthly increase of about $6 next year. This would be followed by additional increases of roughly 9% per year through 2030. For the average single-family home, the current monthly water bill of $29.49 could rise to over $45 by the end of the proposed rate schedule. Read More…

Stage Tribute Celebrates 80 Years Since WWII with Song and Story
