Located up in the Priest River, Idaho area you can find Primal Acres Meats where they are redefining what it means to eat local. Founded in 2024 by Brittany and Darrin; a chef and a commercial fisherman turned ranchers. The business was born from a desire to make a hunter/gatherer lifestyle more accessible to their community. Starting with pasture-raised pork and non-GMO, grass-fed beef at local farmers markets, they’ve grown into a trusted source for ethically raised meats and wild-caught seafood, all while supporting local farms and transparent food systems.
What sets Primal Acres apart is their commitment to ethical sourcing and community connection. Not only do they raise their own animals, but they also partner with local producers to offer a wide range of sustainable proteins. From heritage pork and small-batch poultry to raw dairy and exotic meats, each product reflects their mission: to provide clean, conscious food that people can trust. Through donations to local schools and involvement in 4-H and FFA, Primal Acres is investing in the future of food, one mindful meal at a time.
