Scarywood Returns for a
Month of Thrills and Chills This October

Scarywood is making its spine-chilling return this October! Running through November 2, the theme park will transform into a month-long nightmare filled with scares and thrills. Known for its frightening attractions and highlighted on the Travel Channel's "Halloween's Scariest Thrills," Scarywood promises an experience you won't soon forget. CDA Schools are asking for your
vote on the Levy

A proposed levy could maintain the current tax rate for property owners, costing an estimated $93 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value annually. This levy would replace an existing one set to expire on June 30, 2025. If approved, taxpayers would see no increase in the amount they currently pay, as the new levy is expected to match the current rate of $93 per $100,000 of assessed value. This stability ensures that, under present conditions, the annual tax burden remains unchanged. (Learn More…)

Young Speakers Invited to Compete in American Legion Oratorical Contest

The American Legion Oratorical Contest is open to students in grades 9-12, offering a platform to develop public speaking skills while discussing constitutional topics. Participants can win scholarships, with national winners receiving up to $25,000. (Read More...)
