For 25+ years, Pilgrim’s Market has been a beloved fixture in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, providing fresh, local, and organic foods while fostering a strong sense of community. Founded in 1999 by Joe and Sarah Hamilton, the independently owned store has flourished under Joe’s leadership, maintaining a single thriving location despite interest in expansion. More than just a grocery store, Pilgrim’s offers a carefully curated selection of organic produce, meats, gourmet foods, and supplements, with the added distinction of operating its own certified organic farm. Recent innovations include a rotisserie chicken program, an expanded deli with breakfast service, and an in-house beverage program featuring cold-pressed juices and plans for nootropic drinks and house-made beer.

Pilgrim’s Market is deeply committed to giving back, supporting local nonprofits through sponsorships, donations, and its “Dime At A Time” initiative, which encourages customers to contribute by using reusable bags. Looking ahead, the store continues to push boundaries, with the upcoming launch of its own beer production facility as part of its ever-evolving offerings. For those who value high-quality, sustainable food and community-driven business, Pilgrim’s Market remains an essential destination in North Idaho.
