Beyond delicious baked goods, the Village Bakery is deeply embedded in the community, partnering with organizations like Intercept, Children’s Village, and Down Syndrome Connections to provide training and support. Looking ahead, the bakery plans to host a drive-on car show fundraiser to raise funds for much-needed equipment while bringing attention to local resources for those with special needs. Fuel Mitigation Begins June 12 on Tubbs Hill, Bringing Temporary Trail Closures

Starting June 12, fuel mitigation work will begin on Tubbs Hill in Coeur d’Alene, temporarily closing trails beginning on the east side and shifting northwest over time. The project, funded by a grant, is aimed at wildfire prevention. Visitors are asked to follow posted trail closures for safety. Follow here for updates….
